One of my daughters gave me one for Mother's Day this year! I guess in Mass they are everywhere and quite sizable. Here in nothern Maine, I have only seen a few and they looked scragly and none of them have bloomed yet. REading online about them liking shade and acidic soil, I planted it under a big spruce tree. It gets the morning light and then shade the rest of the day. It looks so drawfed right now. I do hope I gave it a good home and that it will thrive and do well....have you done anything else to make yours happy? Fertilize or anything? I'm going to mulch around it too I think to keep the weeds down until it grows larger....northern Maine probably isn't the best place for Rhodies!

They do look good...especially for those of us who love mushrooms. I love morels, but we don't live around a wooded area, and no one that I know shares the mushrooms they harvest. Actually, I don't know anyone who knows where any of them are. Well, that aside, the mushrooms look really good. Have a nice day. Smile (and your daughter is right--I wouldn't trade living where I can gather or plant my own fresh stuff. It is truly wonderful. Bon Apetite Did I spell that correct? My computer doesn't do French, and neither do I. EEEk Face here... Donevy
